The places in which our students live and learn provide the support they need to excel in today's demanding academic programs. The Momentum campaign supports three areas: science and technology labs, the McMillen Library, and campus housing.
All areas of study will benefit from the establishment of a life sciences lab and a Center for Advanced Technology. The facilities will be state-of-the-art with technology tools to support students in general education courses as well as courses specific to their majors.
Momentum goal: $3 millionMcMillen Library moved into Andorfer Commons just a few years ago, however there is much more to a library than physical space. The pace of change in the world along with the expansion of Indiana Tech's academic offerings makes updated collections of books and reference materials a necessity. Perhaps even more importantly, however, McMillen Library is in need of technology upgrades, including increased access to online databases, to support our students' research needs.
Momentum goal: $3 millionIndiana Tech's enrollment growth in recent years has created the need for additional student housing. In addition to higher enrollments, the increasingly vibrant campus environment has created more demand for on-campus housing. The campus has become not just a place to attend class, but a place to also live, work, and play. We have begun to address this issue with our newest facility, Evans-Kimmell Hall. The residence hall has 15 suites to house about 60 students and one suite for visiting members of the President's Club.
